God's second Greatest Commandment: 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF' - matthew 22:39

Loving neighbor is hard, but it is God’s command for every person to show love to his/her neighbor. Since God is love, then all those people who love God must also love others. One way to love a neighbor can be through giving or sharing blessings. Once you share, then you’re already showing love. So, neighbors will be thankful to you. Meaning, once you help your neighbors, they will help you more when you need them.

Not all neighbors you show love to them will love you back. There are really people who will disrespect you, just like when you help them, they will not accept it and their feed-backs to you would not be as good. But also in love, you should do corrections to your neighbors when they do bad things because love will never do bad deeds, but of course love means doing good deeds. So, it is so important to make corrections, but it doesn't mean you’re correct all the time because nobody’s perfect.

Most neighbors really have different attitudes, so there’s a possibility that some people whom you showed love to them, still hates you. And that’s normal, even Jesus, who is already a perfect one, yet still many hated and persecuted Him.

So, loving neighbor is really hard and it takes patience, sacrifice, and commitment just like Jesus. But surely, there will be a great reward wherein this will be claimed in Heaven for those who obey God’s commandment and since this is also one of His great commandments.

It’s a good thing that when we obey God’s word, surely blessings will overflow, and especially, a protection from God will strongly be with us. God will surely be pleased when we follow Him whole-Heartedly. So, following God is indeed a great challenging one and it needs a 100% full commitment.
